Celebrate Freedom - Free
Friday, July 3, 6:30pm
Genworth Financial, 6620 West Broad Street
An All-American evening of music, fireworks and family fun. The event will feature children's activities and a concert by the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band. The event starts at 6:30 pm, with the concert beginning at 7:30 pm. Fireworks start at approximately 8:45 p.m. Parking is free. No pets, please. Call 804 281-6699 for more information.

West End Farmer’s Market – Free (unless you buy something J )
Saturday, July 4, 8am-12pm
The West End Farmers Market is located in the heart of Richmond's West End. This delightful open air marketplace is one-of-a-kind in the area. The market will be filled with the freshest and finest locally grown fruits and vegetables, herbs and flowers.

All-American Celebration – Free
Saturday, July 4, 9am-5pm
Head out to Lewis Ginter for free garden admission in honor of the Fourth of July. Guests are invited to dress as a butterfly or wear red, white and blue and bring wagons and strollers to decorate for a Children’s Garden parade.

Richmond Kickers Fourth of July Bash - $4
Saturday, July 4, 11am
University of Richmond Stadium in Carytown
Festivities begin at 11 a.m. at the University of Richmond Stadium in Carytown and will feature a Splash Zone, inflatables, delicious food specials and live music. The Kickers host the Charlotte Eagles at 1 p.m. and the first 1,000 fans through the gate will receive a free cup, courtesy of PODS. In honor of July 4th, admission is just $4 per person at the gate and parking is free.

Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration - Free
Saturday, July 4, 1-5pm
Meadow Farm Museum/Crump Park
For all ages. Free fun for the whole family! Join us for our spectacular event in celebration of America’s Independence! Enjoy a multi-faceted array of festive entertainment and activities for the entire family. Activities will include musical entertainment, arts and crafts, face painting, a petting zoo for children, contests and games, pony rides, and two spectacular sky diving shows with Uncle Sam! Other highlights include a watermelon feast, Uncle Sam on stilts, Jonathan Austin the juggler, ice sculpture demonstration, a patriotic performance featuring a historic color guard, drum and fife music, and a period musket salute by Living History Associates, Ltd.

Independence Day Celebration – Free

Dogwood Dell/Byrd Park
Fireworks, music and more at Dogwood Dell's annual Independence Day Celebration. Parking is limited and this is a popular event, so plan to get there early.

Comcast's Fourth of July Celebration – Free
Saturday, July 4, 5pm
Chesterfield County Fairground.
Plenty of children's activities and fireworks. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Admission is free, alcohol, glass, pets and personal fireworks are not permitted. Gates open at 5 p.m., fireworks after dark.
